About Stacey Voss

Stacey is a valley native who grew up in west Fresno. She has flourished throughout her education at Computech Middle School, Edison High School, and California State University of Fresno where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology: Forensic Behavioral Sciences.

She was a collegiate athlete as a member of the Fresno State Cheerleading team. She is currently in her first year of law school at San Joaquin College of Law. She hopes after obtaining her Juris Doctor degree to be able to use it to assist the Fresno community which has helped mold her into the person she is today. Stacey has worked as a legal assistant at Proper Defense for nearly a year before attending law school. In describing how it feels to be in law school she says, “and as the great* artist Drake once proclaimed, ‘started from the bottom now we here.’”

Stacey assists in many office matters including drafting criminal motions and subpoenas, civil discovery, client intakes, and assisting present and potential clients with questions and concerns.

Before working at Proper Defense, Stacey spent many years perfecting the art of mixology in Fresno, culminating in being a cocktail menu creator at 13 Prime Steak. Stacey maintains her skills by creating unique and tasty concoctions at our Fresno office during happy hour on Fridays.
